FlawedJan 05, 2012
By Gary (UG)
You're not spending a lot of money here, but still, if you're buying a flashlight, you want it to light. This guy's major flaw is the battery compartment. There's plastic that sticks out, preventing the + terminal of the batteries from making contact with each connection. I verified with a multimeter and then jammed pieces of tin foil at the connections, and now the light works.
Other shortcomings include a power button that requires too much force and a magnet not strong enough to support the flashlight's weight (with batteries installed).

Cheap thingMar 24, 2012
By Potter Worshipper
-made out of super cheap plastic. Honestly, I don't know how long it's going to last. The pieces of plastic don't even fit right.
-battery-holding area is structurally flawed. You need to add aluminum foil (?) in order to get the connection right so that the light will come on. I'm not kidding.
-the battery-holding area is a **** to open up! My nails are all bloody trying to open the thing.
-the magnet is not strong enough to hold the work light + batteries (+ aluminum foil)
-the light is bright (if you get it to work)

Don't waste your moneyDec 23, 2013
By William T. Graham
I purchased three of these to use two as stocking stuffers and use one. It is almost impossible to get the batteries in as the negative contact spring is a longish and strait spring as opposed to cone shaped as used in better quality battery powered devices. After numerous attempts I managed to get the batteries in and the unit didn't work. I returned all three based on my experience and frustration with the one I tried to get to work
A Piece of Dung!!Apr 29, 2013
By John K. Macfarlane
Never worked! New batteries were installed (twice) and it did not turn on. Very cheap construction; made in that no-quality-control country of CHINA! of very cheap plastic for probably about .25 cents. This piece of dung is now costing $8.99 on Amazon. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Handy to have in the car or around the houseJan 10, 2012

I've bought five of these lights, and all have worked great. Simply cannot beat this for the price. Very bright, contruction feels solid, and battery life is excellent. Size is perfect to fit in a glove box, tool box, or kitchen drawer.
