You don't really have much of a choice when it comes this, since as far as I know nobody makes compatible, cheaper "generic" labelmaker tape. The price might be a bit steep, but that's probably my only complaint--and not a very strong one at that since Amazon has it at least a little cheaper than most other stores.
It holds up as claimed (I've had a label outside for a while now with no yellowing, peeling, or other problems), and it's compatible with my labelmaker. I can't ask for much more.
By the way, don't be confused by the product's name: the "e" in "TZe" indicates "environmental friendliness" compared to an older package that used more plastic. It doesn't indicate a different product line from the "TZ" tapes which they are identical to in all other respects. So, don't be confused if your labelmaker calls for "TZ" and you can only find "TZe" tape--they're the same and are interchangeable since it's only the box itself that's affected. (Just don't get an incompatible size!)

I really don't have much to say about this laminated tape, aside from the fact that I insert it in my label maker and it works just as it should.

1 out of every 3 of these expensive tapes seems to have a problem with the black ribbon sticking to the white backing. This causes the clear laminate with the label to not be able to stick to anything.

I use it to label bins of toys that are sitting on shelves in my classroom/playroom right now. The words printed on the label is big enough so that my kids can read them even the bins are sitting on the third level.
They are easy to peel off because there is a separator in the middle.

I am well satisfied with the Brother Label printer and the laminated tape that it uses. I just wish I didn't have to waste an inch of tape at the beginning of each label, but I guess that is the way it has to work.
