Wonderful programDec 17, 2004
By A. M. Munn I love this program. I used to work with disabled children and this cd was a very effective teaching tool that the kids enjoyed. The concepts are presented in an entertaining manner so that the children learn while playing. The typewriter game shows the letter in either alphabetical format or true typewriter format, which makes the program also useful for older children. You can select the degree of difficulty making it appropriate for a wide range of ages and IQ levels. I highly recommend it to parents looking for a fun way for their children to learn.

Book House reviewApr 09, 2010

I like everything about this product but the way it looks on screen. This is probably a compatibility issue (I have Window XP): I can't increase it. I think if the program would resize to full screen size, my daughter would be more attracted to it. For now, I like it much better then she does, hopefully she will warm up to it. The educational value is great and activities are presented in an interesting, entertaining way. I think it's a great alternative to other educational programs we have like Clifford, Pencil-Pal Kindergarden, Caillou and others

Does NOT work on Macs!!!Jun 18, 2011
By UrbanMomE I was disappointed to find that this software does NOT work on macs. We have an iMac. I popped in the CD, and when I click on "Bailey's Book House" to load, it says "You can't open the application Bailey's Book House because the Classic environment is no longer supported." I feel jipped. The product says Windows and Macintosh- I guess not the ones in this decade.

Great Learning SoftwareFeb 19, 2008
By D. Jakubowski My 4-year-old really likes this software, along with Millie and Bailey's Preschool. The games are fun and challenging and my daughter has learned from playing it. She recognizes numbers well, has improved her counting skills, and can even count by 5s (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.) from playing these games. The games are fun enough to be engaging and educational enough to feel you aren't leaving your child to play "mindless video games."
