Good for what I neededFeb 11, 2010 The software on this thing sucks, just so that you know. If you're looking for something that dose a lot of graphic design stuff stay away. I however know enough cheats that I can get it to work for what I need, and the price was right. I would recommend to anyone who needs to make labels quickly and cost effectively. My sister owns one and that's why I decided to purchse it. It would get more stars if the software was easier to use. So until I find something better this will do for my small business. I also wish I could get labels for it in color. I love the heat activated labels so I don't ever have to buy ink, but really wish I could just buy different color labels, the black print is fine with me, but color, need color!

Good label makerFeb 09, 2010 Prints good and quick. If you need a labeler then you won't be disappointed with this one.
Custom labels done rightFeb 07, 2010 I've never been a fan of the Avery label sheets that you run through your printer, ultimately I end up wasting most of them. This label printer on the other hand only uses what you need with perfect results every time. The included software even lets you make custom 2D barcodes that most new cell phones can read. I only wish they offered the label media in more colors like red, blue or green.

High res printing? Puh-leez!Jan 14, 2010 Ignore the "crisp, high resolution" bit from the description. This thing by no means compare to a laser printer. The edges of the text are kinda blotchy, and half tone looks horrible. Note that I'm printing on normal mode, not print quality priority mode. But still, don't even bother placing fancy graphics.
However, as a text-only label printer, this thing is fast and quiet. Loading and changing paper rolls are super fast and easy. I like not having to print on a sheet on 30-labels just to print one address.

Amazing Printer - Software takes time to learnJan 09, 2010 What an amazing and well designed device. The only thing quirky is the software which works incredibly well, once you figure out how to configure it for what you're trying to do. The ease of use, convenience, and time saving is remarkable. Enjoy!
