The Colin Mcrae series have always been the king of the rally genre in my book and the latest is no exception. Awesome graphics, car selection, and fun! I use a gamepad and it responds perfectly...i dont see how you can trash a game with 1 star just because you can't get your wheel to work right with it...

steeringFeb 16, 2008
By Christopher Evers Colin McRae rally is an awesome game. I had the 2004 for xbox and it was fantastic! the deal with the steering is your not playing need for speed, you are playing a simulator and your not on the road so every input (including steering) is going to be a little sluggish (just like you were really driving a crappy little car at full balls on a dirt road) I think these guys do a great job with this game.

A blast for a true gearhead!Jan 18, 2005

This game rocks! I enjoy it's realistic details, such as car damage after crashes, engine overheating and subsequent stall and restart, getting flat tires and riding on 4 rims, etc... This game is a lot of fun to play for any length of time. I originally rented it from Blockbluster, and liked it so much that I started shopping for it in local stores. To my surprise, I could not find a single copy of this game for sale anywhere. I went to Target, CompUSA, Walmart, ToysRus, and Bestbuy to no avail. Save yourself some hassle, and just order it right here from Amazon.com!
haven't gotten it to work yet, but I'm sure it's funOct 12, 2009
By A. G. Buerger I thought I did plenty of research before buying this game, but it turns out I'll probably never play it on this computer. Unfortunately some of the system requirements you only learn after actually reading the imbeded 'read me' text on the game disk, after spending all day installing it to realize it won't run. I don't blame the game, I'm sure it's awesome, I just wish I could play it...
The best CMR everDec 14, 2008
By Luis M. Alayza These games have been progressively improving, and 2005 is the best edition ever, even better than DIRT, which became an ultra-arcade driving game.
