Not exactly made for XPSep 10, 2009 I purchased this for my son because the version we owned was made for Windows 98 and had a problem with the video stuttering when installed on XP. This says it's made for XP but the copy I received was the exact made for Windows 98 version I already owned. So a warning to you if you are purchasing this for the same reason I purchased this. Although this will install and run on XP; THIS WAS NOT MADE FOR WINDOWS XP!
that is all...

False Advertising - Will not do business with this company again.Feb 20, 2009 I bought this and two other CD-ROM's for my son. As you can see, it advertises that this is Macintosh compatible, which is not true. I have new apple computers and none of the 3 CD-ROM's I purchased work on these. I contacted the company and they refused to exchange or refund the items.

NOT really Macintosh compatibleFeb 05, 2009 I bought this game after seeing that is was MAC compatible. Once it arrived we realized it is only works for MAC version OS 9, which isn't even around anymore. The way this product is listed is very misleading. Wish my son could use this, but we only have Macs here. Must be why the price is so low. I bought this about a month ago for $12, now it's $4

Top notch kid softwareAug 28, 2008 By far the best kids program I have seen, and I have looked at quite a few.
Old? Yes...and it shows...in a good way. You don't see the same level of quality and attention to detail in programming of modern kids edutainment titles.
Plays on XP fine, and has a seemingly infinite amount of replayability. Voice acting is top notch.
I rarely if ever say something is perfect, but I really cannot think of one negative about this title.

Better than Sesame Street?1Jul 28, 2008 The Dr. Seuss ABC software by Living Books is a great way to teach kids and struggling readers their ABCs and general phoneic awareness. It is non-judgemental and repetitive which allows a child to learn freely or unencumbered. Imagine your child (pre-K) sitting and enjoying this software! As a parent, I really enjoyed the software and I really do believe my son picked up on my excitement (modeling)! It is so cheap now, you honestly cannot afford not to own this title in your pre-K software collection.
