Dated, games are more action that mathDec 13, 2009

Like a lot of educational software, this product seems badly dated. It is low resolution, like it was written back in the late 1990's and repackaged now. Given that it is listed as minimally requiring a Pentium II 300Mhz processor, I suppose I should not have been surprised by that.
Worse, the games are mostly action oriented, only minimally teach math, and failed to hold my child's attention. We did little more than try it for an hour or so before abandoning it. I certainly cannot recommend it.
I have to say, I wonder why there are so few useful, high quality, and recently written math games available these days. So many math games on the market seem like they were written more than a decade ago.
