I'm a fan of the splinter cell series and wanted to get the original. On Amazon the primary choices are this or the Splinter Cell: Espionage Pack (which is $20 more expensive). After returning this product I have come to the following conclusion: this is not the way to save $20.
If all you want is a single player only version of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and a DVD of Splinter Cell you're golden. If you expect what's advertized, look elsewhere. In this combo Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow come without the CD-key Ubisoft confirmed the game needed for multiplayer. In addition Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow comes on CD's not DVD's as the box and each disk says.
Don't expect help from Ubisoft or Encore with these problems. Ubisoft places responsibility for the key with Encore. If you request a key from Encore they give you their Replacement/Refund policy. Due to the hassle I personally am avoiding encore products and recommending my friends do so as well.
I never played the original enough before returning to rate gameplay but Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is a fun game that can be challenging based on your approach. Both are a bit dated compared to newer games though.
Recommendations
>Buy this product only for single player.
>Look elsewhere for multiplayer functionality.

I wish I had read the review by Alan Burgesser or I would not have bought this - The Disc(s), package and instructions state DVD all over yet what you receive are 3 CD discs (For Pandora Tomorrow).
Didn't read the review(s) because I'm familiar with the game (The game itself is fine) didn't need to read a review for that. But how can you screw up the packaging with false advertising?
DON'T BUY THIS EDITION (From Encore...) IF YOU'RE EXPECTING WHAT'S LABELED (Or couldn't care less about receiving CDs instead of a DVD...)
NO MULTIPLAYER KEY EITHER

Yes it comes in 3 cds but that because the retailer mucked up. No biggy. Also the reason there is no mutliplayer key is because UbiSoft turned off Multiplayer for Pandora Tommorow. Why have a key for something you cant use?
Splinter Cell 1&2 are great games. Definitely some of thew greatest of all time

So I bought this primarily for Pandora's tomorrow, the second Splinter Cell game in the series. I already owned the first. Pandora's tomorrow isnt bad, not much has changed from the first game in gameplay, but it is a much shorter game, i felt like i beat it in half the time it took me to beat the first game.
All in all a good game!
