The Best of the Tomb Raider Gold SeriesOct 03, 2010
By Atli Hafsteinsson The Lost Artifact is hands down the best of the three "Gold" releases of Tomb Raider, extra levels for the three games. Players take control of Lara Croft in third-person perspective as she runs, jumps, climbs and shoots her way to the end of each cleverly-constructed level.
The previous two titles, Unfinished Business and Golden Mask, were both rather bland adventures, and rather drab visually as well. The Lost Artifact takes both of those things that went wrong with those games and cracks them. Big Time. This is an absolutely excellent adventure. And unlike the other two games, this feels like you're playing another Tomb Raider 3 adventure. It starts nicely, too. Highland Fling is enormous and allows you to explore a lot. The levels feel like Tomb Raider 3 levels. What's more, you get to go to many places in this very short game, complete with costume changes. You go through many different environments. There's a big story tying everything together and it builds on the story from the third game. There's actually a fifth artefact that nobody really knew about except Willard. He didn't need it to raise the meteorite, but apparently he had the fifth artefact, realised its significance and tried to hide it. This is excellent. An excellent adventure, definitely the strongest Tomb Raider Gold title.

Tombraider The Lost ArtifactJul 07, 2007
By B. David Anderson The game stays true to the other adventures of Lara Croft in the other Tombraiders. A must have for the collectors of the games. The Tombraider set is not complete without this game. Most enjoyable.
