I love my Corel video editing software, but WoWordPerfect Office X4 Sucks! It doesn't even work on my computer at all. I finally found [...] as a way to get everything WordPerfect Office X4 does, and it's free. I want my money back.
Buyer Beware!May 18, 2010
I ordered this "blue" and "white" package with the girl on front because of the software DESCRIPTION and the many reviews. That's not what I received! Instead, I received a "white" DVD box with the "yellow" strip typed "WordPerfect OFFICE X4. It has ONLY 2 REVIEWS. I have written the supplier and am patiently waiting to hear from them. I will post their reply when I receive it.
UPDATE: I received not 1, but 2 prompt replies - first was from Amazon and the second was from Galactics. Both stated that a refund was in the works. THIS IS NOT JUST GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - IT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from both Amazon and Galactics. I did forget to mention that shipping from Galactics was speedy.

Fast shipping, good price, best word processing program ever made. No idea why anyone uses Microsoft. I use this to fix problems in MSWord docs then save as MSWord. My kids have to use MSWord in college. They hate it - everyone who uses it realizes WordPerfect is MUCH better. This program is simple, easy to use & opens documents from ANY major word processing program.

WordPerfect Office X4 Home & Student It should be noted that some vendors are sending out a version of Wordperfect Office X4 as the Home & Student edition though that isn't it and that it's probably mislabelled in their inventory. The packaging for the proper Wordperfect Office X4 Home & Student edition is blue and white and made of paper. What some vendors are sending out is a Wordperfect product in a yellow and white featured DVD case titled Wordperfect Office X4. The title is important because this product being sent does not have Wordperfect Office X4 with "Home & Student Edition" as part of its title on the packaging whereas the proper "Home & Student Edition" does. The correct "Home & Student Edition" has decidedly more programs and features in its suite of programs. Therefore if you're complaining about what you've purchased not having the promised features check to see if you've been sent the right program instead of this cheaper and less full featured product. I don't work for Wordperfect but hopefully this will be of help.

Modest price, super value, most needed features...Mar 04, 2010
THIS is the software that should be included with each and every new computer. Ease of installation, use, and loaded with all the features necessary for use at home, school, office- whatever, and all for a rock bottom price. Not "bloatware," but lean, fast, and able to meet most people's needs... Shucks, Grammatik, and PDF features alone, are worth the price. NOBODY offers a better suite for the price- NOBODY! Save money, and maximize your capabilities- buy this product. You won't be sorry.
I'd give MORE than the 5 out of 5 stars, but they won't let me. I won't use any productivity software other than that of WordPerfect, the one I KNOW to be the best...
Oh, and best of all? It works PERFECTLY with Windows 7 Home Premium!
I won't recommend ANY other, than WordPerfect. Corel is THE best in the business.
